Islamic Art Gallery

The Islamic Art gallery is a collaborative effort by Muslim Aid Australia and Australia Halal Trade Pty Ltd. The main objective is to introduce and promote Muslim Artists to main stream audience and at the same time, aiding a charity through auction of their works.

Islamic contemporary works are normally quite isolated and do not have proper presentation in the public realm. One could say they have interests in it, but many do not pursue discovering them, especially with the social moment of how Islam is currently being viewed. Luminosity, concepts and mystical qualities are the main characteristics of Islamic art and these are represented by six International artists who were featured in our first show.

The artists were hailed from Morocco , Indonesia , China and Australia who were of Iraqi and Palestinian background.
