Australia Halal Trade 2006 was initiated to provide a platform for both local and international businesses in exchanging high quality Halal products and services. This first international event in Australia was received favourably by Australians with more than 6000 visitors in attendance. As much the required valuable exchange of creative ideas within the lucrative Halal industry, this international showcase is planned to be an annual event.
The Halal industry has always been a motivating force in the global economy, Australia Halal meat export market alone stands out to be worth about US3.7 billion resulting in a huge economic driving force for Australian government as well as within the private section.

Interestingly, there are over 700 Australian companies are listed as the producer for these Halal certified products. |

As there is an increasing demand in the Halal industry being realised between both local and global market, a huge demand has been developed in the business networking services. Therefore, the objective of this exposition and conference is to establish the value added networking services and expertise in line with the intention of bridging the suppliers and traders in various parts of the world. The end product of these value added services in the demand driven sectors is to benefit all stakeholders within Autralia and worldwide.
