The main stage in the forecourt area of the Royal Exhibition was the venue for the auspicious Australia Halal Trade 2006 Grand Opening Ceremony which was held on the 16th of September.
The event was honoured with the presence of two significant figures: Mr. Andre Haemeyer, Honorary Minister for Manufacturing and Export Minister for Small Business and the Lord Mayor of the city of Melbourne, Mr. John Soo.
The grand opening was also attended by international and local delegates, exhibitors, traders and forum participants apart from the many interested general public.
Australia Halal Trade 2006 was officially launched by Mr. Andre Haemeyer after which all guests of honours were given a mini tour of the exhibition. |
